Cookie Policy

A plain-language overview of the cookies and similar technologies used on Multi-Faucet, and how you can manage them.

§ 01

Overview

This Cookie Policy explains how Multi-Faucet uses cookies and similar technologies on multi-faucet.com. It works alongside our Privacy Policy.

Short version: we use a small set of cookies — most are essential, a few help us understand traffic, and advertising cookies only appear when ads are shown. You can change non-essential cookie choices any time.
§ 02

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. Similar technologies — like local storage and tracking pixels — work the same way. They help websites remember things about your visit, such as your sign-in state or theme preference.

Cookies set by the website you’re on are called first-party cookies. Cookies set by other services loaded on the page (analytics, ads) are third-party cookies.

§ 03

Categories of cookies we use

  • Essential — required to run the site (sign-in, security, form protection). These cannot be turned off.
  • Functional — remember preferences like theme, language and your cookie banner choice.
  • Analytics — help us understand how the directory is used so we can improve it. Set only with your consent where required.
  • Advertising — set by ad networks on pages where display ads are shown. Used to serve and measure ads. Loaded only with your consent where required.
§ 04

Third-party services

Some cookies are placed by external services we use to run or improve the Service:

  • Google Analytics — anonymised usage statistics. You can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out.
  • Google AdSense — set only on pages where ads are shown. Google’s own advertising policies explain what data is processed and how you can control personalisation.
  • Google Sign-In — if you choose to sign in with Google, cookies are set by Google to manage that sign-in flow.

These third parties have their own privacy and cookie policies. We recommend reviewing them if you want full details.

§ 06

Managing your choices

You can control non-essential cookies in two ways:

  • In the cookie banner — accept all, reject non-essential, or pick categories. You can reopen the banner from the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.
  • In your browser — block or delete cookies through your browser’s settings. Browser help pages have step-by-step instructions.
Blocking essential cookies can break parts of the Service — you may not be able to sign in, stay logged in, or submit forms.
§ 07

“Do Not Track” signals

Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is currently no industry-wide standard for how websites should respond to this signal, so Multi-Faucet does not change its behaviour based on it. You can manage cookies directly through the controls described above.

§ 08

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time — for example, when we add or remove a cookie. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page is refreshed when we do.

§ 09
